Before Dordt…scored 17 points per game as a senior with five rebounds, 3.8 assists and 4.2 steals at Ripon Christian (California)…averaged 13.4 points, 4.7 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game as a junior at Ripon Christian (California) while earning CIF-Southern League MVP honors.

4 Kim Kroeze 5-7 Guard SO Hull, Iowa

2013-14…averaged 17.9 minutes per game in 29 games played…started eight games and averaged 5.2 points per game with 2.2 rebounds…scored a season high 14 points against Briar Cliff on January 29.

Before Dordt…Kroeze, a multi-sport standout at Western (Iowa) Christian High School… was a part of two state champion basketball teams…two-time all-conference and all-district performer in basketball…earned all-conference and all-district performer for the Western volleyball team…was a part of several state title winning track events…averaged 9.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.3 steals per game in 2012-13…had similar numbers in 2011-12 with averages of 9.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.5 steals…was a member of the 2012 all-state tournament team…was 51-4 the last two seasons in basketball.

Before Dordt…averaged 8.6 points per game as a junior and senior at Western Christian (Iowa)…gave out over six assists per game and had over 140 steals during those two seasons…played point guard as Western won three state championships in a row…earned all-state honors and was named to the all-tournament team at the state tournament.

11 Jasmin Schelhaas 5-7 Guard JR Pella, Iowa

2013-14…bothered by injury early in the year…played in 25 games and started 18…scored 6.1 points per game and averaged just over two assists per game…had a season high 19 points against Nebraska Wesleyan on January 11…handed out five assists in three games.

2012-13…one of three Defenders to start all 31 games…averaged 28.1 minutes per game…scored seven points per game and 1.8 rebounds…converted 35.7 percent of her three-point shots while converting 41-115…dished off 48 assists and had 26 steals…scored a season high 15 points in a win over York on November 24…earned all-GPAC honorable mention.

2013-14…played in 28 games and started nine…averaged 13.5 minutes per game and scored 1.7 points and grabbed 1.2 rebounds…had a season high six points twice, once against Hastings on December 14 and again when the Defenders played Westmont on December 31.

2012-13…played in 26 games and started five…averaged 11.8 minutes per game and scored 1.8 points per game…took down 1.1 rebounds per game…scored a season high seven points against Nebraska Wesleyan on January 19.

22 Abby Chapman 5-9 Guard JR Arvada, Colorado

2013-14…played in 27 games and averaged 11.5 minutes per game…scored 4.1 points per game…converted 22-61 three-point shots…had a season high 16 points against Nebraska Wesleyan on February 15.

Before Dordt…earned first-team all-state honors while playing for Faith (Colorado) Christian High School…averaged 16.9 points per game with 2.4 steals and 3.2 assists per game…was named the mvp of the Class 3A Colorado State Tournament while helping Faith to a state championship…attended and played for Biola (California) in 2012-13…played in 26 games and average 2.8 points per game…averaged 13 points per game and converted 9-15 three-point shots in three games in the GSAC post-season tournament.

2013-14…played in all 29 games for the Defenders…averaged 10.3 minutes per game and scored 1.8 points per game with 1.9 rebounds…had a season high six points against Nebraska Wesleyan on January 11 and grabbed a season high seven rebounds against Morningside on January 8.

2012-13…played in 21 games…averaged 5.9 minutes per game and 1.5 points per game….scored a season high six points against Moody Bible on November 9.

31 Shaeler Lund 6-0 Forward FR Hinton, Iowa

Before Dordt… was a three-year regular for the Hinton Blackhawks (Iowa) and helped them to a 22-3 record in 2013-14…averaged 16.3 points per game and grabbed 6.4 rebounds and handed out 4.5 assists per contest…earned first-team all-conference honors from the War Eagle Conference twice and was a second-team selection once…was an all-region pick in 2013-14 and scored over 900 points and grabbed 400 rebounds.

2013-14…played an average of 11.8 minutes per game in 29 contests…averaged 4.2 points per game and 3.9 rebounds…blocked a team high 31 shots…had a season high 11 points against Nebraska Wesleyan on January 11…grabbed a season high 10 rebounds against York on October 25.

Before Dordt…scored 14.3 points per game and grabbed 4.5 rebounds per game while playing for Pella (Iowa) Christian High School…made 63 three-point baskets and made 42.3 percent of her three-point attempts…Pella Christian was 19-6 and made the state tournament in 2013…as a junior Engbers averaged 9.6 points per game and four rebounds per game while helping Pella Christian to a runner-up finish at the 2012 Iowa Girls State Tournament…claimed all-conference honors multiple times…was a second-team all-state pick in 2013.

35 Cassidy Vredevoogd 6-0 Forward FR Caledonia, Michigan

Before Dordt…Vredevoogd earned all-state and all-conference honors at South Christian (Michigan)….averaged 10 points per game with five rebounds as a junior and senior…was a member of the 2014 Grand Rapids Area Dream Team.

45 Shae De Jager 6-0 Center SO Hull, Iowa

2013-14…played in 10 games for the Defenders and averaged 1.0 points per game with 1.2 rebounds…averaged 10.5 points per game for the Dordt junior varsity.

Before Dordt…De Jager averaged 7.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game for the Wolfpack as they won their second state title in a row and posted a 26-1 record…was named to the All-State Tournament Team after scoring 16 points and grabbing nine rebounds in the Class 2A title game.

Jamie Schuetz 5-9 Forward FR Gretna, Nebraska

Before Dordt… averaged 13.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, two steals and two assists during her senior campaign…was a first-team all-conference pick and second-team all-state pick in 2014…averaged 10 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals per game for Gretna (Nebraska)in 2012-13…was a 2013 Class B all-state honorable mention and was an honorable mention all-conference pick…claimed Omaha World Herald all-area honors in basketball and also earned all-conference and all-state honors in softball during her high school career.
