Schultz was announced as as assistant coach for the Dordt Women’s Basketball Program in May 2017.
As the lead assistant in 2018-19, she helped the Defenders to a record-breaking and historic season as it posted a 20-12 record with a 13-9 mark in the Great Plains Athletic Conference which was good for fourth place. The team earned an at-large berth to the NAIA Division II National Basketball Championship where its season ended in the first round of the 32-team field. The bid was the first ever for the Defenders and capped a season where they spent most of the year in the top-20 of the rankings and started the year with a 15-4 record.
Prior to serving at Dordt, Schultz spent the 2016-2017 season at Hannibal-Lagrange University as the assistant varsity and head junior varsity women’s basketball coach and assistant sports information director. While at Hannibal-Lagrange University, she assisted in recruiting, scouting and academic monitoring as well as maintain the athletic programs social media outlets.
Schultz was a four-year starter on the Women’s Basketball team at Grace Bible College from 2012-2016 and earned honors as First Team All-American in 2016 and an Academic All-American in 2015 and 2016. She reached 1,393 career points and named the 2016 Player of the Year for the Midwest Region. Schultz was also awarded the NCCAA Game Plan 4 Life Award in 2016. She also competed in collegiate volleyball at Grace Bible College where she was a two-year starter and named as MVP and All Region in 2015.
