The Dordt Baseball High School Showcase will focus on skill evaluation and scrimmage competition.  During the morning session, evaluation will be done through timed 60 yard runs, exit velocity for hitters, throwing velocity for outfielders and infielders, along with pop times for catchers.  Players will also be involved in a live scrimmage during the afternoon session with a focus on player evaluation.  Lunch and a campus tour will be provided during the noon hour of the day.  Parents are also welcomed to attend these events.

From the Director:

“We are excited to offer this opportunity to HS players.  Our coaching staff will evaluate each player in a tryout type of setting along with a competitive scrimmage atmosphere. Players will also have the opportunity to tour our campus and eat in our dining facility.”
