ABOUT THE Clinic

In age and ability appropriate groups, your son will be taught basic volleyball skills in a fun and positive learning environment by our men’s volleyball players and coaches.

Grades: 1-6 (Fall 2019)

Location: Dordt Recreation Center and De Witt Gymnasium

ABOUT THE CAMP

All volleyball skills will be covered at age appropriate levels with an emphasis on fun games and high frequency of contacts. Skill level and experience will be factors to separate participants for their development during the camp. Lower nets and lite volleyballs will be used for proper mechanics.

All fundamental skill areas will be taught and incorporated into 6-on-6 team play as athletes select their desired position to train during camp. Participants will receive a camp t-shirt.

ABOUT THE CAMP

Get back into club season mode with our one-day all-skills camp. We will cover all the skills that you want to refresh yourself with as you prepare for the club season tryouts. This one-day camp will provide you with plenty of instruction, high frequency contact of the ball, and lots of fun! T-shirts included with the three hours of court instruction.

Girls Volleyball Summer League for High School Teams

Dates: July 24, 31, & August 7 (5-9 p.m.)

Grades: High School Teams Only

Cost:

  • 3 nights (team): $120
  • 2 nights (team): $90
  • 1 night (player): $8

Location: Dordt Recreation Center and De Witt Gymnasium

ABOUT THE CAMP

Teams will play 2 matches each night. Teams can register for one, two, or all three nights. Each participant will receive a t-shirt.

Team play is so important for the success of a high school program. We believe that this commitment to summertime team competition will produce season benefits and rewards. Our courts and campus are a perfect place to converge top volleyball team talent in the surrounding four state area of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

Team Training Option: If you would like to have an additional day camp with your team at Dordt, you can come earlier for 1 or 2 sessions for an additional charge. Please contact Chad Hanson individually for prices and availability. The goal is to have your team get coached by our staff earlier in the day, then break for dinner, then play in the evening summer league on one of the nights.
