ABOUT THE CAMP
The primary goal of this camp is for a high level of basketball to be experienced by the athlete over a two-day period of fundamental development and intense competition in a collegiate level atmosphere. This camp is designed to prepare you for college basketball, to evaluate your current and potential basketball abilities, and help you develop the other intangible aspects of the game. You will hear from Dordt Head Coach, Bill Harmsen, about the recruiting process and what to look for as you desire to play college basketball or attend college in general.
FROM THE DIRECTOR
“The Dordt coaching staff and players are thrilled to direct and lead this two-day camp which focuses on improving the skills of competitive athletes who are looking to experience basketball in a college-level atmosphere. The design of the camp is focused to develop the whole athlete and help prepare her to be the best she can be each day. Seeing the growth of players over the course of the summer is something that really excites us as coaches as we see athletes prepare for their next season. This camp is a great tool to help that development take place.”
Campers will register in the Dordt Rec Center Thursday, July 16 between 12:30-1:00 p.m. This will be a commuter only camp, and the campers who are coming from out of the area need to contact Coach Byker to find housing accommodations.
