Thank you for your interest in Dordt University Men’s Soccer. As we continue to promote The Defender Way and develop young men into Christ-centered leaders, support for our program is becoming increasingly important. As we strive to build and improve our program, funds are needed to enrich the student-athlete experience, not only to equip student athletes with a faith-infused education, but also to also strive for competitive GPAC aspirations.

Resources contributed to this fund will help our program with scholarships, purchasing of facility and equipment updates, support in covering the travel costs of the team, as well as providing us with the opportunity to promote culture and character development through The Defender Way.

Support needs

This year, the men's soccer team is requesting support for the following items:

Equipment and Facility Upgrades

Equipment upgrades allow us to replace outdated items and improve the quality and adaptability of our training. These include balls, ladders, cones, pug goals, skill nets, and other items. Facility upgrades allow us to improve our goals, organize storage, potentially upgrade our benches, and provide additional signage.

Team Travel

We have been blessed with support for team trips. Because of you, we have been able to do things we would not have been able to do with our operating budget, such as enjoying a meal and attending a Sporting Kansas City game together. In 2020, we are planning to tour Chicago including Navy Pier, Millennium Park, and Shedd Aquarium. We aim to connect with parents and alumni when organizing our trips and aspire to provide unique experiences for our student athletes in their time together at Dordt.
