Pre-Dordt… served as team captain at Veritas Christian his junior and senior years and knocked in 28 goals and had 6 assists during his senior season…helped his team team to a 1st place finish in the Faith Tournament and Metro Christian Athletic Association Tournament and Veritas went undefeated in 2010. Brinkerhoff was named the 2010 Metro Christian Athletic Association Most Valuable Player in 2010.

Pre-Dordt… was a Colorado Select Player from 2005 to 2008 and was in the Region 5 ODP Boys '92 Pool. Davis helped his club to a State Cup Championship in 2005 and Heritage High to the Continental League Championship in 2009. Additionally, Davis' side took the En-Fuego Futsal State Championship in 2008.

Pre-Dordt… helped Sioux Falls Christian to state titles in soccer in 2007 and 2008 and was the runner-up in the state in 2006 and 2009…named 1st Team All-State in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and finished his high school career with 77 goals and 75 assists…helped his club team to six consecutive State Cup Championships from 2005 to 2010.
