Head Coach

Coaching Background

Craig Stiemsma was named the men’s soccer coach in November of 2014. Steimsma is in his second stint as head coach. Steimsma has spent the previous eight season with the Dordt women’s basketball program and currently stands second in career wins with the women’s program. Prior to his time at Dordt, Stiemsma taught and coached at Western Christian High School in Hull, Iowa.

We will seek academic growth, physical development, spiritual growth, and social growth. Our outcome is that players will graduate as mature servant-leaders.

At Dordt

While Coaching the Defender men’s soccer program from 2003-2006, Stiemsma complied a 38-36-1 record. Under his leadership, Dordt qualified for two GPAC post-season tournament semi-final rounds as well as earning a pair of berths to the NAIA regional tournament. Coached the Defender women's basketball program from 2007 to 2015.
