Before Dordt...transferred to Dordt the University of Fraser Valley and was a 2012 graduate of Sardis Secondary School. He most recently played for the Chilliwack Lightning. As a blueliner, Douglas tallied seven goals and added 22 assists over the last two seasons in the AHL 19+ B Division. Between 2010 and 2012 Douglas added ten goals and 42 assists while competing for the Patriots in the CCJHL A Division and from 2006-2010 he had 25 goals and 75 assists for the Chilliwack Coyotes of the CMHA Rep AAA. Douglas has served as a team captain multiple times and was named the Most Valuable Player of the year on three separate occasions (2009, 2010 and 2012) and received the distinction as the Most Developed Player of the Year in 2012. Douglas’ Rockets won the 2012 AHL Championship and he helped the Patriots to the CCJHL A Division Championship in 2012; he was honored by playing in the CCJHL All-Star game as a starting defenseman in 2011 and 2012.
