Caleb Drake joined Dordt University’s coaching staff as an assistant for both the men’s and women’s teams in the fall of 2017.

Since his time joining the staff, he has aided in coaching two women’s teams to GPAC titles in 2017 and 2018, and in 2019 to a runner-up finish. All the teams qualified for the NAIA National Championship finishing 11th, 16th and 23rd, respectively. He also aided in coaching two NAIA All-Americans in cross country, Audrey Brooks in 2017, and Annechiena Knevelbaard in 2018.

Drake has aided the Defender men’s teams to a third-place finish in 2017 and claimed back-to-back GPAC titles in 2018 and 2019. Both the 2018 and 2019 teams qualified for the NAIA National Championships finishing 10th and 16th, respectively. He aided in coaching Eric Steiger to an individual GPAC title in 2018.

Coach Drake is an assistant for the Defender Track program where he is responsible for the development of distance and middle-distance runners.
