2010-2011…started 19 games for the Defenders after transferring in at the semester break…scored 11.6 points and dished off over four assists per game with 2.5 rebounds…earned all-GPAC second team honors… score in double figures 12 times…had a season high 22 points in an overtime win over Hastings February 12…assisted on a season high 12 baskets in a win over Doane on February 19…

Pre-Dordt…was a three-year starter at Pella Christian High School in Pella, Iowa, where he helped the Eagles to state tournament berths in 2008 and 2009. Pella Christian was the state runner-up in Class 2A in 2009…averaged 20 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 2.9 steals per game while earning all-state and all-conference honors during his senior season…was a two-time all-tournament selection at the Iowa High School State Tournament…averaged 15.4 points and 5.8 assists per game while converting 37 percent of his three-point tries throughout his career.. was red-shirted at the University of South Dakota for the 2009-2010 season as the Coyotes went 22-10 and appeared in one game in the first semester of the 2010-2011 season before transferring.

Pre-Dordt…Sapon-Amoah attended Des Moines Christian (Iowa) and helped the Lions to the Iowa High School State Basketball tournament in 2010…scored 9.1 points per game and grabbed 4.7 rebounds per outing…played for Gillette College in 2010-2011 and helped the Pronghorns to a 23-8 record.

Pre-Dordt… averaged 15.8 points per game for Unity Christian High School (Iowa) with 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game….converted 36.5 percent of his three-point tries…was named most valuable player at the Iowa Goalsetter’s All-Star Game…earned all-conference and all-district honors in 2009 and 2010…averaged 16.4 points per game with six rebounds and two assists during his junior season and he averaged 13 points per game as a sophomore.

2010-2011…one of five players to appear in all 31 games for the Defenders…made 42 percent of his three-point tries and averaged 4.9 points per game with 2.2 rebounds…went for 19 points in a road win over Hastings on January 22…

2009-2010…played in 30 games for the Defenders, starting 29 and averaged 8.7 points per game while converting 46-123 three-pointers and grabbing an average of 3.6 rebounds per game…had a season high 28 points against Valley City State and dished out seven assists against Doane on February 20…

Pre-Dordt…Keizer helped Western to a Class 2A Iowa High School State Tournament Championship in 2008 and a third place finish in the 2009 tournament. He averaged 17.9 points per game as a senior with 6.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He knocked down 15.2 points per game as a junior while grabbing 6.5 rebounds and averaging 4.5 assists and 1.1 steals. Western was a combined 51-5 in the two years Keizer was with the Wolfpack. Keizer had 1,323 career points, 557 rebounds and 373 assists. Keizer was named First-Team All-State by the Iowa Newspaper Association in 2009 and was a Second-Team pick in 2008. He also claimed Second-Team All-State honors from the Des Moines Register this season and was a two-time All-Northwest Iowa pick by the Sioux City Journal. He was named All-District and All-Lakes Conference twice and was included on the All-Northwest Iowa Review First-Team as a senior after taking second team honors in 2008.

25 Trevor Wolterstorff 6-4 Guard JR Sioux Center, Iowa

2010-2011…played in and started 29 games…converted 52.5 percent of his field goal tries with 16.0 points per game and 5.3 rebounds…assisted on a little over two baskets per game…earned all-GPAC first team honors and third team honors all-American honors from the NAIA…scored over 20 points in 13 games…had a season high 30 points against Concordia on January 8, 2011…took down a season high 13 rebounds in a win over Mayville State on December 30…handed out a personal best eight assists in an overtime loss to Mayville State on October 29.

2009-2010…led the Defenders in scoring with a 15.8 points per game average and was tops on the team in rebounds with a 6.0 average….made 51.6 percent of his shots from the floor….recorded double digit scoring in 26 of 30 games played and went over 20 points seven times…had a season high 25 points against Briar Cliff on February 3 and pulled down 11 rebounds in a playoff game with Hastings….earned 2nd team all-GPAC notice.

Pre-Dordt…Helped Western Christian (Iowa) to a pair of Class 2A State Championships in 2007 and 2008 and a third place finish at the state tournament in 2009. Wolterstorff averaged 18.8 points per game this season with five rebounds, 3.3 assists and made 56.7 percent of his field goal tries. He was named to the all-tournament team in all three state appearances and is the all-time leading scorer at Western Christian with 1592. Wolterstorff was a rare four-year starter at Western and was named to the Iowa Newspaper Association first-team all-state in 2008 and 2009 and was a second-team pick in 2007.

Pre-Dordt…competed for Coral Springs Christian High School in Coral Springs, Florida… averaged 19 points and ten rebounds per game in 2009-2010 and was a first team all-Broward County pick… made 56 percent of his shots from the floor and ended his career with a school record 652 rebounds…averaged 15 points, ten rebounds and three blocked shots per game as a junior…was named his team’s most valuable player and mvp of the Embry Riddle camp all-star game…was a 2008-2009 all-conference honoree and he was member of a basketball team that qualified for AAU Nationals.

35 Tyler Wolterstorff 6-5 Forward FR Sioux Center, Iowa

Pre-Dordt …averaged 18.3 points, six rebounds and 3.5 assists in 2009-2010 and had similar numbers in 2010-2011 for the Western Christian Wolfpack with averages of 19.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists…helped Western to a state title in 2010 and a title runner-up finish in 2011…earned first-team all-state honors in 2010 and 2011 and was named to the all-tournament team at both the 2010 and 2011 state tournaments.

2010-2011…played in 29 games and started 18…played 22 minutes a game and scored 10.1 points per game with a team high 6.1 rebounds per contest…converted 59.5 percent of his shots from the field…earned honorable mention all-GPAC honors…scored in double figures 18 times…scored a season high 20 points against Mayville State on December 30, 2010.

2009-2010….Played over 16 minutes a game in his first season with the Defenders and made 58.4 percent of his shots while averaging 5.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game. Had a season high 19 points against Hastings on January 16 and recorded double digit points and rebounds in a win over Dana in the playoffs.

Pre-Dordt…Averaged 10.5 points, seven rebounds and three blocked shots per game for the Western Christian (Iowa) Wolfpack and helped them to a 2009 Class 2A Consolation Championship at the Iowa High School State Tournament. Vogel was named an all-Lakes Conference Second-Team member in 2009 and made 65 percent of his shots from the floor. Vogel averaged 5.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in a reserve role for the Wolfpack in 2007-2008 when they won a state title.

Pre-Dordt… averaged 15.8 points per game as a senior at Sioux Center High School while earning all-Siouxland Conference honors…converted 46 percent of his field goals attempted and averaged 3.8 rebounds per game while handing out 1.8 assists per game…Beaver earned second team all-Siouxland Conference honors as a junior while averaging 11.8 points per game with 3.1 rebounds and made 35.1 percent of his three-point shots…three-year regular who averaged 10.6 points per game with 2.9 rebounds during his sophomore season while making 39.7 percent of his three-point shots.

Pre-Dordt…Averaged 10.6 points, 8.4 rebounds with 2.3 assists while making 54 percent of his field goal tries this season. Earned first-team all-conference and all-district honors for the Ballard (Iowa) Bombers. Sievers helped Ballard to a conference runner-up finish and a district championship along with a #10 state ranking in Class 3A.
