Lindbergh joined the men’s basketball staff after serving as the interim head women’s basketball coach for the 2017-18 school year. The 2017-18 Defenders posted a 14-17 record under Lindbergh and an 8-12 GPAC record. Prior to his time at Dordt, Lindbergh served as an assistant girls’ basketball coach in 2016-17 at Sioux Falls O’Gorman High School after spending two basketball seasons playing professionally for the Stirling Senators in the State Basketball League, Western Australia. Lindbergh has been a coach and trainer with Warwick Workouts in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and has coached various club and select teams along with the Girrawheen High School (Australia) boys' varsity basketball team.
Was a member of three NAIA National Tournament qualifying teams at Dordt University and was named NAIA First-Team All-American in 2014. Lindbergh was also named the GPAC Player of the Year in 2014 and claimed GPAC Defensive Player of the Year honors twice. He was a two-time all-star while playing for the Stirling Senators in Western Australia in 2015 and 2016.
