Crane served as Director of Golf Operations at The Club at Porto Cima from 2005-18 and was the Head Professional and Managing Director at the same course from 2000-05. The Club at Porto Cima is a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course located on the Lake of the Ozarks.

Prior to his time at Porto Cima, Crane worked at the Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi from 1996-2000 as Assistant Professional, Merchandise Manager and Head Professional at different times during his time there.

Upon his graduation from Mississippi State University he worked as a golf staff assistant at Long Cove Club at Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Crane is a member of the PGA President’s Council and is a PGA Magazine Ambassador.

Crane attended Central Missouri State where he earned a varsity letter with the golf team.
