The Canons of Dordt, the university’s newest ensemble, consists of around 30-40 men, from advanced vocalists to beginning singers. They sing a variety of songs and styles, including folk songs, gospel, barbershop, new music, and more.

Ryan Smit, the conductor of the Canons of Dordt, also conducts Chorale, Concert Choir, and 4th Avenue Singers.

Recent repertoire includes:

  • Betelehemu, Olatunji, arr. Whalum
  • Brothers, Sing On!, Grieg, arr. McKinney
  • Tshotsholoza, arr. Ames
  • When I Hear Her I Have Wings, Templeton
  • Good Night, Sweetheart, Carter & Hudson
