With a strong focus on psychology and mental health, Dordt's public health program creates a strong tie between community development and biology. Built on Dordt’s foundation of faith, this emphasis focuses on shaping community health and will teach you skills for connecting with and impacting the community. Dordt will prepare you to be a leader with a holistic approach to community health.
This emphasis is offered as both a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Science degree. The Bachelor of Science is suggested for those intending to pursue graduate school. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) is encouraged for those who intend to enter the work force after graduation, or who would like the option of a double major.
