I graduated in May 2020 with a Ph.D. in Business Administration/Finance.  I wrote my dissertation on Option Price Theory, examining the factors that influence the SPX option price.  I also have a master’s degree in education and a B.S. in Finance.  I earned all three of my degrees online so I understand the challenges of being a working professional, remaining connected with family and friends, the demands of parenting, and being a student.  I have been married to my wife, Valerie, for 29 years (in December).  We have five adult children, with the last two entering college this year.

I took the family to China in 2014 where we lived for two years.  We moved to Taiwan in 2016, moving back to the US in June of 2020.  Here is a picture of my living conditions in Taiwan.

I have been an educator for 12 years, teaching secondary students Math, Science, and Business courses.  I was also able to serve as an Academic Coach during my doctoral journey, helping graduate students master the intricacies of Corporate Finance and other graduate level classes.
