My specialties are Kierkegaard, Contemporary Continental Philosophy of Religion (Jean-Luc Marion, Jean-Louis Chretien, Emmanuel Falque, and Emmanuel Levinas), Hermeneutics, and Phenomenology.

I teach introductory philosophy courses in the CORE program (Introduction to Christian Philosophy), the history of Christian philosophy (specifically Augustine, the origins of the Christian mystical tradition, Pascal, Kierkegaard, and the challenge of Nietzsche), the history of philosophy (especially Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, Kant, Hegel, Heidegger, and Wittgenstein), anthropology (especially philosophy of the passions and emotions), and occasionally aesthetics and philosophy of science.
