Dordt University uses the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to process official transcript requests. The advantage of this service is that there is an electronic signature, and they can generate and deliver industry-recognized secure PDF transcripts.

NSC does charge a processing fee of $2.50 per processed request, whether paper or electronic, and there is also a $1.00 secure electronic delivery fee. Students who have access to their Self-Service account may still request official paper transcripts for either pick-up or domestic delivery at no charge through the Transcript Request feature of Self-Service. These requests are not processed by NSC, but are handled directly by the registrar's office.
