# Theatre Arts Center

 

The [Theatre Arts Center](https://www.dordt.edu/academics/programs/theatre-arts-ba) includes a theatre space, scene shop, make-up room, classroom, faculty offices, and a lobby and ticket area. Its focal point is the Fourth Avenue Theatre, a black box performance space which seats up to 140 audience members. This space features a recently upgraded lighting and sound system. The theatre hosts rehearsals, experimental pieces, student productions, and some mainstage shows.
