The Northwest Iowa Symphony Orchestra, hosted on Dordt's campus, is comprised of the finest musicians in the tri-state region, including all ages of adults and gifted children. The Chamber of Commerce hosts a small art gallery downtown; two more art galleries are on Dordt's campus. An annual Tulip Festival is held each May in Orange City (12 miles east of Sioux Center) to celebrate the region's Dutch heritage.
