Application Procedure For Staff Positions

All clerical, maintenance, housekeeping and technical staff positions are hired through the office of Human Resources at Dordt College. The Human Resource office is located within the Dordt College Business Office. The Director of Human Resources coordinates the recruitment, interview and selection process for all open positions.

Application Procedure for Staff Openings

1. Send a letter of application concerning the open position to the Director of Human Resources at the address listed below. This can be sent by regular mail, faxed, or e-mailed to the Director. This letter should include information about education and experience relating to the responsibilities of the position.

2. Along with the letter of application, please print off and complete our official application form. We would also appreciate a copy of a detailed, professional resume.

3. The resume should include at least three references including one character reference, and two work-related references.

All submitted application materials are retained for one year. It is the responsibility of the applicant to initiate contact with the Human Resources office to reactivate application materials for consideration of any specific position openings during that year.
