Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who intends to major in agriculture and has a 3.00 minimum cumulative GPA. Two scholarships are available.

Students must have a 3.00 cumulative GPA and plan to major in agriculture or animal science. Preference is given to students demonstrating special interest in swine management.

The Vermeer Charitable Foundation Agriculture Scholarship

Recognizes students who plan to major in agriculture. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00. Recipients will be chosen on the basis of academics and career goals, along with leadership potential and involvement in agricultural projects.

Renewable for an additional three consecutive years provided the recipient maintains a 3.00 GPA and continues majoring in an agriculture field.

Hilda Ozinga Art Scholarship

This scholarship is available to give recognition and encouragement to students majoring in the visual arts. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 and must be able to submit a visual arts portfolio as specified by the Dordt College art department faculty.

Additional Information:
Renewable for an additional three consecutive years provided the recipient maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.50, continues to major in the visual arts and is endorsed by the art department faculty.

American State Bank Business Scholarship

Recognizes students who exhibit special aptitude and potential in accounting or business administration. Applicants must rank in the top 20% of their class and plan to major in accounting or business administration.

Renewable for an additional three consecutive years provided the recipient maintains acceptable academic standing and does not change his/her major. References should address the applicant's abilities and potential in the fields of accounting or business administration.
