Academic Scholarships
Distinguished Scholar Awards
Awarded to seven incoming freshman students. Applicants must have a minimum 3.75 cumulative GPA and an ACT composite score of 30. Eligible students will be invited to a Dordt College Distinguished Scholar Day on February 8 during which a variety of activities related to academic interests will be presented. A written response to an essay question will be a required activity that day. Students who find it difficult to schedule this visit may write the essay under the supervision of their high school guidance counselor. Dordt College Admissions Counselors can answer specific questions about Distinguished Scholar awards.
Additional Information: Renewable for an additional three consecutive years provided the recipient maintains a 3.50 GPA. These academic scholarships may replace a previously awarded Presidential Scholarship.Application: No Application Form Required

Dordt College Honors Scholarships
Dordt College Honors Scholarships are awarded based on the applicant's cumulative grade point average and ACT or SAT scores. Minimum requirements are a 3.00 cumulative grade point average and a 21 ACT or 980 SAT score.
Additional Information: These scholarships are renewable for an additional three consecutive years, provided the recipient maintains a mimimum cumulative grade point average of 3.00.Application: No Application Form Required

Dordt College Presidential Scholarships
Dordt College Presidential Scholarships are awarded to applicants with superior academic records. Consideration will be given to cumulative grade point average and ACT or SAT score.

Kuyper Scholarships
Students accepted into the Kuyper Scholars Program will be awarded a $1000.00 Kuyper Scholarship. Requirements to be considered for acceptence into the Kuyper Scholars Program include a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, a minimum ACT requirement of 28, an entrance essay and letters of recommendation. Interested freshmen students should apply through the college admissions office.
Renewable for an additional three consecutive years provided the recipient maintains a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and is a successful, active participant in the Kuyper Scholars Program. Application: No Application Form Required
