College Central Network (CCN) Job Board

Dordt College has partnered with College Central Network (CCN) to provide an online job board for our students and alumni. The job board has both job listings for employers looking specifically for Dordt grads as well as employers who post jobs looking for students at all CCN colleges across the country.

Placement Career Assistance Network (PCAN)

The Placement Career Assistance Network (PCAN) is a list of Dordt alumni who are willing to assist Dordt graduates and other alumni with job searches or settling into a new community. This assistance could include talking with students about their careers, sharing graduate school experiences, telling students about living conditions in their communities, acting as a referral, notifying the Career Services office of job openings, supplying graduates with additional employer contacts or just being a source of encouragement. One of Dordt's most valuable commodities is its people, both on and off campus.

If you, as a Dordt alumnus, would like to join the network, or use it to assist your job search, contact Ellen Mouw at (712) 722-6078. You can also send an email to emouw@dordt.edu

Credential Files & Transcripts

Dordt College has, like many colleges and universities, moved to a "Self-Credentialing" policy where the individual is responsible for their own credential file. A credential file usually consists of resumes, personal statements, transcripts, recommendations and evaluations.

Education majors are the only exception to this policy. Their files are kept at Dordt College for a period of 5 years after graduation. At which point the individual will have an additional two years to claim their file before it is disposed of confidentially. These will be sent to prospective employers upon request at (712) 722-6078 or emouw@dordt.edu.

All majors can order transcripts from the Registrar.
