An annual gift enables alumni, parents, and friends of Dordt College to partner with us in making a difference in the lives of our students.
Unrestricted gifts to the Dordt College Fund (DCF) help fund for the daily operation of Dordt College and enhance our academic program. These gifts are used where they are most needed. The DCF also provides tuition relief and scholarships for students.
Please join the generous alumni, parents, and friends who have expressed their commitment to Dordt College by making an investment in its future.
Gifts to DCF are received in various ways:
- Leadership Gifts Program--Many constituents were visited in person and asked to consider a gift. As of July 31, 2007, $763,375 has been received through the Leadership Gifts Program.
- Student Phonathon--Almost 15,000 constituents have been asked by one of 40 student callers to consider a gift to the Dordt College Fund. Currently $329,877 has been received through the student phonathon.
- Mailings--More than 5,000 constituents have been asked to consider a gift through a mailed request. Currently, we have received $13,020.00.
- Church Offerings--Many churches are asked to take an offering for the Dordt College Fund. As of July 31, 2007, we have received $35,706.00 through church offerings.
- Matching Funds--Numerous companies and corporations match donations made by their employees to Dordt College. Gifts of $44,983.00 were gratefully received.

The 2007 Spring Debt Reduction Drive will kick off in early March. The Spring Debt Reduction Drive raises funds to make annual debt payments and improvements on our academic facilities (land, buildings, furnishings and equipment).
Gifts to the Spring Debt Reduction Drive are solicited in four ways:
- Student Phonathon--Around 6,000 constituents will be contacted by student callers this spring and asked for a gift.
- Mailings--Around 7,000 constituents will be contacted by mail and asked for a debt reduction gift.
- Church Offerings--Many churches will be encouraged to take an offering for the Spring Debt Reduction Drive.
- Matching Funds--An excellent way to double your gift if your company or corporation has established a gift matching program.
During January and February student phone callers call alumni asking for a gift to the Alumni Association Regional Scholarship Program. Through this program, at least eight scholarships will be given out per year. One or more high school seniors from each of the eight geographic regions will receive a $1000 scholarship. Alumni have the opportunity to help a student from their own local region attend Dordt College. The goal this year is $200,000.
