PARENTS WEEKEND
Additional Information
About the Play
The Glass Menagerie
Called "the greatest of all American plays," Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie is a classic of the stage. We see inside a family full of unrealistic dreams—Amanda, the overbearing mother, clings to youthful memories of rich suitors; Laura, the crippled daughter, plays with her collection of glass animals; and Tom, the frustrated son, secretly dreams of escape. What happens to the Wing? eld family when a ray of hope suddenly shines into their lives? This powerful and delicate masterpiece will remain with you long after the lights fade to black.
