Trip Details
Departure
Departure point: Albuquerque, New Mexico. We’ll meet at the Best Western Rio Grande Inn, located in Albuquerque’s historic Old Town district, for a welcome dinner at 6 p.m. on May 31. The next morning, we board a motor coach for our seven-day tour. We will return to the Rio Grande Inn on June 7. Vehicles can be parked at the motel during the trip free of charge or you can use the complimentary motel shuttle from the Albuquerque airport.
Transportation
Transportation to Albuquerque is not included in trip fee.
We are using a bus company out of Sioux Falls, S.D. If you wish to extend your trip by two days on each end and ride the bus to Albuquerque, we can make those accommodations.
The bus will leave Sioux Center on May 30 and will travel Interstate 80 to Colorado. It is possible to be picked up along this route. Motel reservations will be made for the evening of the May 30. On the return trip, the bus will leave Albuquerque the morning of June 8, again with a motel booked, and return to Sioux Center on June 9. Both motels are included in the fee; all meals are on your own.
Cost is $250/person (if motel is double occupancy) or $280/person (motel single occupancy) for round trip bus transportation. If you wish to be picked up enroute, we’ll make arrangements with you.
