Concert Choir home concert March 26

The Dordt College Concert Choir will conclude their 2004 spring tour of Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Montana and British Columbia, with a home concert at the B. J. Haan Auditorium on the campus of Dordt College, Sioux Center. The concert will be Friday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m.

Under the direction of Dr. Benjamin Kornelis, the 52-member Dordt College Concert Choir will perform a wide variety of choral music, including works by Pärt, Rheinberger, and Parry, as well as arrangements of hymns, folksongs, and spirituals.

Admission to the concert is free, with a free-will donation received to help defray tour expenses.

Dordt College is a Christian liberal arts college located in Sioux Center, Iowa, with more than 300 U.S. and international students participating in ensembles including four choral groups, two orchestras, and three bands. Music scholarships are available to qualified students.
