Honors Recital Sept. 12

A music recital featuring all Dordt College students who were awarded music scholarships for the 2003-2004 academic year will be Friday, Sept. 12, 3 p.m. in the B. J. Haan Auditorium.

Both instrumental and vocal music will be featured. Performers include Sarah Schaap, organ; Elizabeth Vande Griend, clarinet; Neil Elgersma, piano; Carrie Spronk, organ; Jessica Veldkamp, piano; Rachel Goslinga, oboe, accompanied by Mary Goslinga; Tricia Groenenboom, organ; Amanda Jasper, clarinet; Elisabeth Mc Pherson, voice, accompanied by Pam De Haan; Kelsi Schuller, voice; and Alicia Mulder, organ.

The public is welcome to attend. Music scholarships are awarded annually at Dordt College to students who have contributed significantly to their high school or community music program and intend to actively participate in the Dordt College Music Program.

Scholarships are renewable annually based on cumulative GPA and successfully contributing to the music program.

Dordt College is a four-year, liberal arts institution located in Sioux Center, Iowa.

Dordt offers students over 50 areas of study along with a graduate program in education.
