Lovetere Joins Defender Football

(Wednesday, June 25; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Joseph Lovetere, a graduate of Kennedy High School (California), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football program.

Lovetere played wide receiver and defensive back for Kennedy and helped them to a CIF qualification and first team all-league honors.

Joseph is the son of Joe and Zsalene Lovetere.  He plans to study construction management at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
