Barr To Attend Dordt College

(Wednesday, June 11; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Quinton Barr, a graduate of Williamsport High School (Maryland), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender football and baseball programs.

Barr, a 5-9, 175 pound linebacker, totaled 77 tackles in ten games played and had two interceptions, three blocked field goals and forced six fumbles.  He earned all-county honorable mention honors for his play this season.

Quinton is the son of Gerald Barr and Annabella Barr.  He plans to study criminal justice or computer science at Dordt College.

Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. Dordt’s athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). 

U.S. News & World Report,, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,400 students.
