Rep theater to west coast this summer

Dordt’s Repertory Theater Group traveled to Colorado, Utah, Oregon and Washington this summer, presenting the play, “An Appearance of the Blessed Virgin at a Brookline Health Clinic.”
The play was performed on Dordt’s campus April 24-26, with the cross-country tour culminating their efforts for the academic year.
The play juxtaposes a contemporary young woman with flashbacks to Mary, the mother of Jesus, exploring how each deal with the unexpected prospect of pregnancy. Pictured is the group at a rest stop, with Justin Vande Kerk on the guitar and the rest of the group captured in a reflection.
