Christian Reformed Synod ends

2003 Synod Synod 2003: The Week in Review gives a detailed account of the Christian Reformed Church Synod held on the Dordt College Campus June 12-19.

After six days of deliberation, prayer, debate and worship, President Wayne Brouwer urged delegates to go into the world and be the "hands and feet" of Christ. Some of the topics discussed during the Synod included the issue of bioscience and genetic engineering; peacemaking and war; women in office; and interdenominational relations.
