Dordt College Concert Choir to perform Friday, March 21

Dordt College invites the community to the Home Tour Concert featuring the Concert Choir on Friday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium. This concert is the conclusion of the group’s spring music tour, which included performances in Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Ontario.

Directed by Dr. Benjamin Kornelis, the 52-person choir will perform works by Johannes Brahms, Aaron Copland, and even Dolly Parton.

The concert is free, with a freewill offering received to help defray tour expenses.

Dordt College has approximately 300 U.S. and international students who participate in the music program, with opportunities to perform in four choral groups, two orchestras, and three bands. Music scholarships are available to qualified students.
