Orthodox Presbyterian General Assembly to meet at Dordt College

The 70th General Assembly of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church will meet June 25 to July 2, at Dordt College, in Sioux Center.

The General Assembly is the highest judicatory body of the Church, consisting of up to 150 ministers and ruling elders commissioned by the 16 presbyteries in the United States and Ontario, Canada. In addition to the commissioners at the General Assembly, Fraternal Delegates from other denominations from as far away as the Netherlands and Scotland will be in attendance, along with presenters of several reports to the assembly.

The business sessions of the General Assembly are open to the public. They will be conducted Thursday morning, June 26; Friday afternoon, June 27; all day Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, June 28-July 1, and concluding at noon on Wednesday, July 2.

The Orthodox Presbyterian Church consists of 237 churches and a total membership of 26,873 ministers, communicant members and baptized children.
