October 3, 2001
Sioux Center, Iowa—Christian educators from a tri-state area will be gathering at Dordt October 4 and 5 for the annual Heartland Christian Educator’s Convention. This year’s theme is “Dare to be Different,” with Romans 12:2 the key verse. Rev. David Feddes, radio minister of the English-speaking Back to God Hour radio broadcasts, will be the keynote speaker.
On Thursday, October 4, Feddes will present the opening address “Dare to be Different” at 10:00 a.m. in Dordt’s B.J. Haan Auditorium. At 7:30 p.m., Feddes will hold a Back to God Hour rally in the auditorium. Friday at 8:30 a.m. he will speak to the conference members on “Happy Soldiers,” Christian education as a boot camp for spiritual warfare. Various sectionals will take place throughout the day on Thursday and Friday.
