Art students receive recognition

Dordt College is well represented at the annual Nobles County Area Art Show underway now in Worthington, Minn.

Thirteen Dordt College students have artwork on display, with three receiving merit awards. The art show is at the Nobles County Art Center in Worthington, and is open to artists living within a 150-mile radius of Nobles County. There were approximately 110 works entered and about 75 selected for display.

Students recognized for their work were Diane Hoekstra, merit award for printmaking; Marissa Ten Brink and Chris Maust, merit awards for photos. Other Dordt College students with works in the show are Mark Zwart, Sarah Versluis, Ryan Snieder, Erika Hydeen, Dawn Haak, Stephanie Springer, Sara Wasco, Roxanne Volkers, Jessica Van Smeerdyk and Sonja Eenigenburg,

The Nobles County Area Art Show can be seen until April 27.
