Jensen To Run At Dordt College

(Thursday, January 31; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Alec Jensen, a senior at Charles City High School (Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender track and cross country programs.

Jensen has personal bests of 1:58 in the 800 meters and 16:35 on a 5,000 meter cross country course.  He helped Charles City to a third place finish at the 2012 state cross country meet and placed 23rd in the individual standings.  Jensen claimed all-conference honors in both sports and finished fifth at the state meet in the 800 meters.

Alec is the son of Jerry and Teresa Jensen of Charles City, Iowa.  He plans to study pre-architecture at Dordt College.
