Dordt Basketball No. 10 This Week

(Wednesday, January 9; Sioux Center, Iowa)  The Dordt College Defender men’s basketball team is no. 10 in the NAIA Division II Coaches’ Basketball Poll announced late Tuesday, January 8.

The Defenders, 6-0 since the last poll released in mid-December, are now 15-3 overall and stand 7-3 in the GPAC at the midpoint of the conference season.  Dordt is scheduled to face Dakota State in Madison, South Dakota on Wednesday, Janaury 9 and will host Midland on Saturday, January 12.

Dordt is one of five GPAC teams mentioned in this poll.  Northwestern is no. 7; Doane is no. 16 while Briar Cliff and Hastings are both in the receiving votes category of the poll.
