(Tuesday, October 23; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Dominic Nibbelink, a senior at Southwest Christian High School (Minnesota), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the Defender basketball program.

“Dominic is a good addition to our program as he has already experienced a great deal of basketball success at Southwest Christian where he is coached by Jamie Pap.  He also gained valuable experience on the AAU circuit  while playing with the Southwest Minnesota Stars led by Ross Reitsma,” said Dordt College head coach Ross Douma.  “He is a dynamic guard who will continue to improve as he gains strength.  We believe Dominic has the potential to very good college player.”

Dominic is the son of Jim and Vonda Nibbelink of Luverne, Minnesota.  He plans to study business at Dordt College.
