Dordt Volleyball Still Receiving Votes In Poll

(Tuesday, October 16; Sioux Center, Iowa)  The Dordt College Defender volleyball team was in the receiving votes category of the seventh edition of the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll released Tuesday, October 16.

The Defenders are 18-7 this season and 8-1 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference after a five set win over Briar Cliff and losses to three rated foes last week.  The Defenders are scheduled to travel to Mount Marty on Tuesday night before facing Buena Vista on Friday night and no. 6 Hastings on Saturday, October 20 in a clash of the top two teams in the GPAC so far.

Dordt totaled 16 points in the voting done by 23 NAIA coaches across the country.
