Defender Men Receiving Votes In Poll

(Wednesday, October 10; Sioux Center, Iowa)  The Dordt College Defender men’s cross country team earned 12 points in the NAIA Men’s Cross Country Coaches’ Poll released on Wednesday.  The Defenders are in the receiving votes category of the poll listing after a fifth place finish at the Briar Cliff Invite on Saturday.

The Defenders will run at the Mount Marty Invite in Yankton, South Dakota on Saturday, October 20 in their next action.  Morningside and Concordia are No. 16 and No. 20 respectively.  Doane is also receiving votes to account for four GPAC schools in the weekly polling.

Southern Oregon is top-ranked this week in the balloting done by 23 coaches across the country.
