Defender Volleyball Receiving Votes In Poll

(Wednesday, October 3; Sioux Center, Iowa)  The Dordt College Defender volleyball team was in the receiving votes category of the fifth edition of the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll released Tuesday, October 2.

The Defenders are 15-4 this season and 5-1 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference after a loss to #14 Doane on Saturday.  The Defenders are scheduled to face Morningside on Wednesday, October 3 before traveling to Fremont, Nebraska to face #21 Midland.  Of their remaining 14 matches, five matches for the Defenders are against teams currently in the top-25.

Dordt totaled 30 points in the voting done by 23 NAIA coaches across the country.
