Football and Hockey Gain Soodsma

(Thursday, March 22; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Chris Soodsma, a senior at West Central High School (Alberta, Canada), has announced his intention to attend Dordt College and join the football and hockey programs.

Soodsma, listed 6-0 and 195 pounds, played running back, split end and defensive back while helping West Central to a Lions Bowl Championship and 3rd place in the Alberta provincials.  He was his team’s mvp in both hockey and football.

Chris is the son of Joel and Corinne Soodsma of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.  He plans to study health-human performance at Dordt College.
