Pancake supper supports Dordt College student mission projects
November 30, 2011
The community is invited to Dordt College for a pancake supper on Friday, December 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Defender Grill located in the lower level of the Dordt College Campus Center.
The supper will benefit Dordt College PLIA (Putting Love Into Action), a group that organizes approximately 140 student mission volunteers to serve in locations throughout the U.S. and Canada during spring break. The goals of PLIA are to share Christ’s love with people in diverse communities, to challenge participants to adopt a more service-oriented lifestyle, and to assist and encourage the growth of the ministry centers with which they work.
Pancakes, sausages, coffee, and orange juice will be served. Donations will be accepted for $2 or more for each meal, with proceeds supporting the spring break mission trips.
