Augustana String Quartet performs at Dordt College

The Augustana String Quartet brings its talent to Dordt College on Friday, November 4. The free concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium, where the group will perform works by Beethoven, Copland, and Reich.

The four members of the group serve as associate principals in their respective sections in the South Dakota Symphony and as adjunct teaching faculty for Augustana College. Musicians include Christian Zamora (violin), Justyna Lutow-Resch (violin), Kathryn Hufnagle (cello), and Tyler Sieh (viola).

The Augustana String Quartet performs up to 130 different outreach programs per year with the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra and the Augustana Orchestra. The ensemble has performed and given master classes in South Dakota, Minnesota, and Nebraska.
