September 19, 2011

As we anticipate the changing of seasons, KDCR radio invites you to witness the beauty of autumn as seen through the lens of professional landscape photographers Don and Fran Van Polen, in the travelogue Autumn Across America. The travelogue will be shown at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium on the campus of Dordt College, Friday, September 23.

The stunning landscapes and vibrant scenic views tell the stories of what life is like during this beautiful changing of seasons throughout the country.

The visual journey will take the audience to New England, Wisconsin, Kansas, Colorado, Michigan, Iowa, and more. The tour is set to the music of classic songs such as Seeing Nellie Home and Suppertime. Narration will include poetry such as When the Frost is on the Pumpkin and will include the telling of several fascinating stories and histories along the way.

The travelogue is sponsored by KDCR Radio. Tickets can be purchased at the door. The cost is $5 for adults and $3.50 for students.
