Dordt campus tours offered during Iowa Private College Week

July 12, 2011

It’s free, fun, and can save you money: Iowa Private College Week (IPCW) provides an opportunity to tour 28 non-profit, private college campuses, including Dordt College in Sioux Center.

From August 1 through 5, Dordt College invites high school students and parents to stop in at the admissions office in the Campus Center at 9 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. for a tour of the campus. Participants will be able to visit with admissions counselors and current students to ask questions regarding the college decision process and life as a Dordt student. Refreshments will also be served.

When prospective students arrive, they will receive an IPCW passport that is stamped at each campus visited. Dordt will waive your enrollment application fee with a stamped passport. Students who collect the required three or more passport stamps (maximum of two campuses per day), and then apply and enroll at a participating college will have a chance to win a $500 bookstore voucher. Two vouchers will be awarded for each college by IPCW.

Students may pre-register to indicate the day and time they will be coming by calling the Dordt College admissions office at (712) 722-6080, or toll-free at 1-800-343-6738 (option 1). To pre-register for other IPCW tours, and for additional information, go to
