Dordt College junior art show and reception

The annual Dordt College junior art exhibit will be on display in the Campus Center Art Gallery from Feb. 24 through March 22. The exhibit features the work of ten junior art majors.

A reception will be held on Saturday, Feb. 26 from 3 to 5 p.m. The artists will talk about their work beginning at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Student artists participating in this year’s show include: Kimberly Brinkerhoff, Branchville, N.J.; Rindy De Nooy, Sioux Center, Iowa; Ellie Dykstra, Bozeman, Mont.; Lindsay Folkerts, Inwood, Iowa; Carrie Goff, Crawford, Neb.; Gary Huitsing, Edmonton, Alberta; Julie Miller, Sioux Center, Iowa; Annemarie Osinga, Dublin, Texas; Michelle Stam, Oskaloosa, Iowa; Melissa Visser, Oskaloosa, Iowa.

The exhibit and reception is free and open to the public. The Campus Center Art Gallery is open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Dordt College offers art degrees with five different emphases including art education, art history, fine art studio, graphic design, and pre-architectural art. The college offers more than 90 programs of study.
