Dordt music students present vocal recital

Nathan
Groenendyk, a senior majoring in secondary choral music education at Dordt College, and Rachel Van Essen, a junior majoring in music performance, will present a vocal recital on Saturday, November 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
Groenendyk is the son of Bruce and Lisa Groenendyk, from Leighton, Iowa. His vocal instructor at Dordt is Pamela De Haan.
His program includes music of Handel, Mozart, Schumann, and an original composition by Groenendyk.
Van Essen is the daughter of Walter and Marsha Van Essen of Mitchell, Ontario, Canada. Her vocal instructor at Dordt is Pamela De Haan.
Others participating in the recital include accompanists Nancy Vermeer, Nathan Friend, and Janelle Bolkema.
This student recital is free and open to the public.
